Welcome to Believe And Pray

What we believe profoundly shapes our personality and outlook on life. That’s why it is essential that our beliefs are firmly rooted in truth and aligned with what is morally right. As Scripture reminds us, “You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free” (John 8:32). Without this foundation in truth, we risk embracing ideas that simply cater to our desires or ambitions rather than guiding us toward what is good and just.

Every philosophy, lifestyle, or person who claims spiritual authority—even those who present themselves as prophets or divine—must be approached with discernment. As Jesus said, “Every tree is known by its fruit” (Luke 6:44). It is therefore vital to remain vigilant, both in what we believe and in how we live.

New text element

We live in a world that often seeks to reject or redefine God’s authority. It desires freedom not just from human laws, but even from divine law—preferring to create its own moral codes that serve self-interest. In such a culture, the Christian faith is frequently challenged, and we may find ourselves echoing the question Pilate once asked: “What is truth?” (John 18:38). Yet Jesus has already answered this question clearly: “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life” (John 14:6).

Still, we must not be discouraged. The Apostles themselves were not scholars or theologians; they were ordinary men who encountered Christ, and after witnessing His resurrection, placed their complete trust in Him. Jesus affirmed this kind of faith when He said, “Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed” (John 20:29). Our belief is not blind—it is sustained by abundant evidence of God's presence and love, seen in the lives of the Apostles, the saints, the Blessed Virgin Mary, and the enduring witness of the Church. Here, our mission is to share these insights and testimonies so that we may recognize how our Good Lord continues to work through His faithful and His Church—strengthening our belief, renewing our hope, and drawing us ever closer to Him.
